Bob Gysen – half human, half record mixing machine – is steadily making his way to stardom in the Flemish DJ scene and far beyond. Son of half of the legendary DJ duo DWR, which had its heyday in the eighties, Bob was meant to fill his father’s shoes as patron of sensational parties, filled clubs and bouncing dancefloors.
Bob took up his musical alter ego ‘The Bobmeister’ for the first time way back in 2010. He then quickly built a name for himself in and around his hometown Bree. In 2018, his career got an enormous boost due to his residency in the renowned Moose Bar. Things really took off from there. Over the course of the last months, the Bobmeister has shown his impeccable skill and charm at Belgium’s biggest concert hall (Sportpaleis), Tomorrowland and Tomorrowland Winter! It won’t be easy to find another 26-year-old with such an impressive résumé.
One more thing: even though his everlasting smile and joyful taste in music ofttimes suggest otherwise, it might come in handy to know that Bob is always down to earth ánd sober. That’s why song requests only have a shot at success when going hand in hand with a sparkling coke, preferably served in a large glass with a handful of ice cubes. Don’t say you weren’t told!
