NICOLAS MEIJS
Nicolas Meijs (2010) is a modern, ball-playing goalkeeper characterized by his game intelligence and composure under pressure. He excels in playing with space in behind and stands out for his accurate distribution and calm build-up from the back, essential qualities for an attacking style of play. Beyond his technical ability, Nicolas is a vocal leader who organizes his defense with authority.
Nicolas started playing as a goalkeeper at the age of three with CF Alella and later continued playing at elite youth levels with CF Damm, UE Quart, Girona and CF Badalona.
Nicolas’ talent and progress have not gone unnoticed. As a promising goalkeeper, he has signed a three-year academy contract at U19 level with Girona FC, where he aims to continue developing over the coming seasons with the clear ambition of becoming a professional goalkeeper.
